Honda Motor Revs Up Quarterly Results
Honda Motor (HMC) hit some rough patches last year, but it's now on the comeback trail. Late last month, the automobile and motorcycle maker reported fiscal Q3 2013 earnings that jumped 47% to 50 cents a share. But Honda still missed views. Sales grew 11%, the third straight quarter of double-digit growth, to just over $28.05 billion. Auto sales, which accounted for nearly 80% of total revenue, climbed 32% from a year ago.
