Strong global demand for oilseeds helped agricultural giant Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) overcome drought in the U.S., a smaller corn crop, and low water levels on the Mississippi that constrained traffic. Meanwhile, breakfast cereal and snack foods maker Kellogg (K) leaned on its Pringles chips acquisition to boost sales. ADM reported adjusted Q2 earnings per share of 60 cents, up 17.6% from a year ago. Revenue climbed 7% to $24.92 billion.
