Estee Lauder Beats, Allergan EPS Tops On Botox
Estee Lauder (EL) reported profit above expectations early Tuesday on strong sales in the U.S. as affluent customers continue to spend on high-end cosmetics. The prestige make-up company known for its MAC and Estee Lauder brands said second-quarter earnings jumped 12% to $1.13 per share, beating analyst estimates by 8 cents.
