Opexa Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPXA) today announced the execution of an agreement with Merck Serono (MRCG.DE), a division of Merck, Darmstadt, Germany, for the development and commercialization of Tcelna(TM) (imilecleucel-T), a potential first-in-class personalized T-cell therapy for patients suffering from multiple sclerosis (MS). Tcelna (imilecleucel-T) is being developed by Opexa and currently is in a Phase IIb clinical trial in patients with Secondary Progressive MS (SPMS). Potential payments to Opexa from the option and license agreement could total $225 million based upon the successful development and commercialization of Tcelna for MS.
iMing Corp. (PINKSHEETS: IMNG) announced today that the company plans to launch its new product line for the iPhone accessories market in the second quarter(Q2) of 2013. The company's new device is called the "imRemote". The "imRemote" is the smallest and most powerful universal remote control device made for the iPhone. The imRemote controls a TV, DVD, VCR, home Theater, Blu-ray, Cable Boxes, Satellite Boxes, Receivers, etc.. The imRemote is compatible with the iPhone 4, 4S, 5, iPod Touch 3rd, 4th, 5th generation. It is also compatible with the iPad, iPad 2, iPad 3, and iPad 4. The company is expected to launch it's imRemote for the Android and Windows phones later this year. The latest worldwide smartphone data from IDC reveals that Apple's (NASDAQ AAPL) worldwide market share grew to 25.1 percent in 2012. Apple's total iPhone shipments increased 46.9 percent last year, from 93.1 million handsets in 2011 to 136.8 million in 2012.
Pioneer Exploration, Inc. (OTCQB: PIEX) is pleased to announce it has received a request for further testing of Incinerator bottom ash from previous processed samples (See press release dated September 21, 2012) Coal ash, the by-product of burning coal, contains toxic heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, lead and mercury. Billions of tons of this toxic waste are stored in unlined ponds, landfills and mines in almost every state. The further testing will include Total Metals and Metals found in a 1311 TLCP extract. The list of Total Metals to be digested by EPA 3050 and analyzed by EPA 6010/7471 would include the RCRA list as well as the Priority Pollutant List.
China Logistics Group, Inc. (OTCQB: CHLO) an international freight forwarder and logistics management company, announced that management sees strong growth in volumes for its four largest international routes to Europe, United States, Middle East and Southeast Asia. In the first 9 months of 2012 ending September 30, 2012, the total freight volume arranged by China Logistics from its Shanghai location to Europe, United States, Middle East and Southeast Asia was approximately 3,000 TEU or, twenty foot equivalent units, generating revenues of approximately $6,700,000 and gross profits of $1,200,000. Management sees a growth of 20% to 30% for the company through these four major international routes in 2013 which is expected to significantly improve overall financial performance over the course of this year.
