On February 08, 2013, Vista Metals Corp., the world's largest independent producer of specialty aluminum products, will be an exhibitor at the 2013 Manufacturers' Summit hosted by the Manufacturers' Council of the Inland Empire. The summit will take place at the Double Tree Hotel in Ontario, CA.
Vista Metals Corp. has partnered with the council for the past six years. The council is made up of roughly 20 local organizations. It provides resources to small business owners and creates training programs with surrounding community and trade schools.
"We want to make people aware of Inland Empire Manufacturing," said Sheryl Baez, HR Manager for Vista Metals Corp. "There is a lot of growth and opportunity for the Inland Empire economy to be robust like it once was."
The summit is the "premier networking event for workforce and industry development in the Inland Empire." It was designed to showcase the various resources for manufacturers in Southern California and to provide the Inland Empire Manufacturers' with information about best practices, business challenges, success stories, products made in the IE, and local vendors with key services (http://www.MFGSummit.com).
"The summit is a great opportunity to show that we exist and care about our community," said Baez.
Schedule of events will include networking, exhibitors, keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and the E=mc2 Awards.
