Refreshments will be available after the event and attendees will have an opportunity to meet the artists and buy books in the Beyond Baroque bookstore which is filled with thousands of rare volumes written by leading local writers.

Founded in 1968, Beyond Baroque Literary Art Center is dedicated to literary and cultural production, contact, interaction, and community building. Located in the Old Town Hall in Venice, California, near the Pacific Ocean, we offer an extensive program of readings, book signings, new music, art, workshops and special events. Our independent bookstore is the first place to look for new and out of print books by leading and local poets.
The Center launched its own imprint, Beyond Baroque Books, in 1998, dedicated to emerging, overlooked, out of print, and experimental writing, as well as the history and legacy of experimental and alternative writing, poetry, and the arts in Los Angeles.
