Valero, Phillips 66 Lead Refinery Renaissance
Normally calm refinery stocks behaved like Justin Bieber fans in the past week as earnings rolled in from the industry's largest players. Marathon Petroleum (MPC) and Phillips 66 (PSX) popped 11% and 10%, respectively, for the week. Valero Energy (VLO) sailed 18%. The buying even caught refiners that have yet to report results. HollyFrontier (HFC) swept ahead 12%. Tesoro (TSO) skated up 11% and CVR Refining (CVRR), which went public Jan. 17,
