AMC Theatres® Invites Guests to Experience All the Action They Can Handle with a Die Hard Marathon

For the past 24 years, John McClane has done battle in a building, an airport, on the streets of New York and against Cyber Terrorists. Before seeing him back in action in A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD, guests can experience all of the action and thrills from the previous Die Hard films, as AMC Theatres® and 20th Century Fox present a Die Hard Marathon on Wednesday, Feb. 13.

AMC is running the all-day Die Hard Marathon, beginning at noon on Feb. 13, and concluding with the 10 p.m. premiere of the newest installment of the Die Hard franchise: A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD. In addition to access to five of the greatest action movies of all time, guests attending the Die Hard Marathon will receive a collector lanyard and an exclusive AMC commemorative gift (a full-size original DIE HARD poster). AMC Stubs members will receive $5 bonus bucks to use on the day of the event when they purchase their tickets in advance.

Fans in the New York City area are in store for a special treat: Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney (who portrays John McClane’s wayward son Jack in A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD) will make a special appearance at the marathon, at AMC Empire 25 in New York. The first 500 fans to purchase tickets for the marathon at that theater will get to take part in an exciting fan event, including red carpet interviews with the two stars, plus photo opps, autographs and T-shirt giveaways. The Die Hard Marathon will begin at 9 a.m. at AMC Empire 25.
