PR Log - Jan 31, 2013 - In memory of Angelo and Margherita Bilo, accomplished Interior Designer, Linda Bilo-Brechtel has announced the release of her premier book, “my Sicilian kitchen” Cookbook. Blending traditional Sicilian cooking philosophies with a simple, no-fuss approach to recipe development, Linda has designed an authentic Sicilian Cookbook that is meant to inspire everyone’s inner chef. Working closely with her father Angelo to carefully translate the handwritten, Italian recipes of the Bilo family, Linda has perfected and tested each recipe to ensure authenticity. Complete with signature Sicilian dishes unique to the Palermo region such as Angelo’s Signature Speidini Stuffed Beef Kabobs and Panelle (Chickpea Fritters), “my Sicilian Kitchen” features a variety of unique recipes that honor true Sicilian heritage. The robust flavors and brilliant colors of each dish will entice the senses and delight the palate. Perfect for both aspiring cooks and seasoned chefs alike, each recipe is simple to navigate, complete with easy to read preparation guides which feature special tips from Linda herself. Fueled by her mother’s commitment to support children in need, through over fifty years of funding to an organization for abused and neglected children in Bari, Italy, Linda is an avid supporter and active member of Childhelp, and will be donating a percentage of every book sale back to the foundation. Published by The Press Group, “my Sicilian kitchen” Cookbook is available for purchase via mysiciliankitchen.com, Amazon and Ebay, with a list price of $29.95. Official details for upcoming book signings and appearances will be made available via mysiciliankitchen.com and facebook.com/mysicilankitchen. “With a content stomach, your heart is forgiving; with an empty stomach, you forgive nothing.” –Sicilian Proverb
