LONDON MARKETS: AstraZeneca, Shell Slump In Weak U.K. Market

Shares of drug maker AstraZeneca PLC and Royal Dutch Shell PLC led U.K. stocks lower on Thursday on the back of lackluster earnings reports, while banks dropped after facing large payouts to small-business customers.
