Amazon.com (AMZN) on Thursday announced plans to open three new fulfillment centers in Texas, saying the centers will create more than 1,000 jobs. The centers will be located in the cities of Coppell, Haslet and Schertz. Amazon said the centers will use advanced technology to quickly fill customer orders.
