Boeing Near $13 Billion Ryanair Deal; 787 Still Sits
Boeing (BA) is close to signing a contract to sell 150 jets to discount airline Ryanair (RYAAY), the top budget carrier in Europe. The deal could lift Boeing, whose shares have been hurt by a series of fires on its newest plane, the wide-body 787 Dreamliner. Most of the planes Ryanair would buy would be older 737s, rather than a new version of that plane called the Max, which is due to begin flying in 2017, Reuters said, quoting two sources close
