Theriot's book is geared for children ages three to ten, and for readers three to ten at heart. The idea behind the book is to poke fun at thePrep Academy scene in New England by creating a unique and topsy-turvy school as the center for many peculiar events.
Theriot explains, "This project has allowed me to create a world, not just a book. The first story is not just about trees– it's more about introducing the world in my head and some of the characters in it. The book is unique in that it will offer periodic updates, such as a Halberstram Preparatory Academy Yearbook, illustrated in the book’s style, along with wall art posters and related merchandise."
When asked about the book's characters and what makes them special, Theriot playfully concedes, "Nothing really happens to the characters, besides maybe turning blue with purple dots."
