NYSE Technologies would like to inform clients that NYSE Euronext’s Global Index Group is in the process of finalizing the harmonization the way its indices and indicative Net Asset Values (iNAVs) are displayed in the market data feed. The main goal of this harmonization is to simplify further the different methodologies and dissemination methods used across NYSE Euronext’s indices, improving transparency for customers. The final lot concerns the harmonization of all iNAVs. The impact of the change is to the indicator in the data feed for flagging the iNAV opening level in the Index Real Time message (542). Instead of flagging the Official Opening Level of all iNAV with the value 1 in the field ‘IndexLevelCode’ it will be flagged with the value A. At the end of last phase the IndexLevelCode value 1 will no longer be used. Furthermore, for each iNAV an Official Close Level (IndexLevelCode 5) will be published via the Real Time message (542) together with an Index Summary message (543) at the end of the day.
