Stocks Stumble, Reverse Lower On Fed Minutes
Stocks stumbled back from an upside attempt Thursday when minutes of the December Fed policymakers meeting showed some members wanted to see an end to quantitative easing in 2013. The major stock averages all reversed lower, from modest gains of 0.1% or 0.2% to modest losses. The Nasdaq ended off 0.4%, while the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones industrial average each ceded 0.2%.
