Petrobras: Offshore Fields Are 'Commercially Viable'
Petrobras (PBR), Brazil's state-run oil company, said Thursday that two offshore oil fields were "commercially viable." The new fields could hold more than 350 million barrels of oil and gas. Shares rose more than 2%. The Aruana and Oliva fields are located in the Campos basin 78 miles off the coast of Brazil and 170 miles east of Rio de Janeiro. The Aruana field was renamed Tartaruga Verde, which means "Green Turtle" in Portuguese. According to
