Stocks Open To Narrow Losses; SunPower And Ross Stores Spike
Stocks opened lower in soft trade, with the Nasdaq flickering in and out of mixed territory Thursday. The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 0.2%. The S&P 500 whittled off 0.1% and the Nasdaq toggled between fractional gains and losses. Volume was down significantly from Wednesday's early levels, 47% lower on the Nasdaq and off 40% on the NYSE.
