Tech stocks join in fiscal-cliff relief rally

Tech stocks surge across the board Wednesday, with big gains coming from Hewlett-Packard Co., Apple Inc. and Seagate Technology Inc., as the sector rallied with the broad market after Congress approved a deal to avert the fiscal cliff.
