News Corp. Buys Sports Network For Est. $230 Mil
Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. (NWSA) announced Friday it purchased SportsTime Ohio, a Cleveland-based regional sports network, from the Cleveland Indians baseball team. Financial terms were not disclosed, but Reuters citing an unnamed source said the deal was worth $230 million. News Corp. shares were down 0.5% in midday trading Friday.
