Local Bank Branch Directory Now Available for Residents of Missouri
Jefferson City, Missouri (PRBuzz.com) December 28, 2012 -- With the announced official launch of MissouriBankFinder.info, consumers and businesses looking for local bank branches in Missouri now have a simple and easy online directory resource to quickly find contact and location information.
This list of Missouri counties with banks covered by this directory include the following:
• Adair County • Andrew County • Atchison County • Audrain County • Barry County • And others...
The MissouriBankFinder.info website is a compilation of publicly available data, scoured from government provided and private business directories, about local bank branches throughout the state. The individual bank branches are organized according to counties, but users can also use the built-in site search tool to find specific banks according to name, city or zip code.
"If the website seems not quite complete, that is no accident," said Michael Romanski, the lead developer for this project. "With the constant turmoil and changes in the banking industry today, and the fact that web-researched data is never 100% accurate unless confirmed by each entity, we understand that this directory had to be a work in progress. That is why we specifically invite and encourage input from banks and consumers who may be searching for local banking options."
In fact, Missouri banks , credit unions and savings & loans with listings in the directory are invited to submit updates, edits, corrections or comments.
In-state banks, credit unions and S&Ls not currently in the directory may request a listing entry via the website's "Contact Us" form. There is no cost for a financial institution to have its directory listing included on this website, and all unlisted credit unions, banks and S&Ls are encouraged to submit their entry requests.
An additional measure employed by this directory is its anti-spam precautions. First of all, all directory listings are maintained and managed by actual human persons. Consequently, companies and marketers are not able to submit and receive automatic placement in the directory, thereby eliminating much of the clutter that many online directories encounter. This does mean that some listing requests may take up to and longer than 14 days to process, depending on the volume of requests. But the website development team felt this was a prudent trade-off.
The current listings only includes the basic contact information for banking institutions, such as bank name, phone number, mailing address and, when available, website domains. However, companies may also submit additional information, including company histories, news and product information. It also includes a news feed that will be used to provide current news about banking and finance, especially regarding Missouri news , as well as a directory page for useful Missouri resources .
