U.S. stock futures edge up as deal hopes remain
U.S. stock market futures traded higher on Wednesday as Wall Street was due to reopen after the Christmas break, amid news President Obama is headed back to Washington early to resume fiscal-cliff talks. On the data front, Case-Shiller home prices are on tap.
