PR Log - Dec 18, 2012 - Calgary, AB – Express Media today announced the launch of Cognitile, available now for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices. Cognitile is a re-imagining of the puzzle genre, combining beautiful adventure-themed artwork with unique memory challenges. It marks the first of 2 game releases from Express Media planned for this winter season.
Cognitile throws you, a budding adventurer on a tile-based journey! Use the power of Cog Vision to watch the sequence of hazards at the beginning of a level and then carve a safe path through the mayhem by memory to find the hidden treasure. Make one mistake and you could fall down a crumbling tile, find yourself poisoned or engulfed in flames, get crushed by a boulder or attacked by snakes (why'd it have to be snakes!).
The game doesn't end when you've solved the 60 official levels. Enter the Workshop to build your own levels and play levels that other community members have shared. The powerful and easy to use level builder puts the very same tools the developers used to make the official levels in your hands.
"This game was an ambitious undertaking, there really isn't anything else like it, and that's an extremely rare quality for game development," said Matt Durrant, CEO of Express Media. "Although it's very complete as-is, we hope our fans can look forward to an exciting array of free content & improvements we'll be pushing out in regular updates as we move forward".
Cognitile is available worldwide as a universal application for $0.99 CAD/USD from the App Store at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cognitile/id583279641?ls=... and Google Play at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.expressmedia.cognitile. Cost may vary by region, exchange rate and taxes.
