Caesars Shares Climb Despite Superstorm Sandy Hit
Leadership in the casino market in recent weeks has come from an unlikely quarter. Shares of beleaguered casino operator Caesars Entertainment (CZR) have soared 69% from a Nov. 15 low of 4.52 to close up 4% at 7.63 Monday. Caesars took a hit last month when Superstorm Sandy crashed into the East Coast. Sandy came ashore near Atlantic City on Oct. 29 and resulting damage from the storm led to the biggest monthly drop in casino revenue in November
