Working alongside Fields of Life who owns and operates the drilling equipment, Wells of Life and LifeVantage have been able to impact the lives of almost 12,000 villagers in over 1,200 Ugandan households. The following are the wells that have been completed and their locations:
Well # 1-Olio in Kalaki, 150 households, 1,350 villagers
Well # 2-Odudui in Kwera, 70 households, 630 villagers
Well #3-Akwote Village in Agwata, 130 households, 1,170 villagers
Well # 4-Olemai in Otubi (funded by the McFaddens), 200 households, 1,800 villagers
Well #5-Abuki in Amwoma, 100 households, 900 villagers
Well # 6-Acede in Amwoma (funded by Dickie clan), 112 households, 1,008 villagers
Well # 7-Apor in Amwoma, 107 households, 963 villagers
Well # 8-Ilong in Dokolo, 127 households, 1,143 villagers
Well #9-Adwongdokinyom Village in Okwongodul, 111 households, 999 villagers
Well # 10-Ocero in Bata (funded by Gillaspie), 111 households, 999 villagers
Well #11-Aboloneno in Oyam, 76 households, 684 villagers
Prior to these builds, villagers walked up to three miles each way to retrieve water for consumption and washing. And depending of the need, multiple trips were conceivable. More often than not, people shared water resources with animals. Because the water was contaminated, waterborne diseases including bilharziasis and typhoid were the norm.
