Ford Hybrids Fail Mileage Test, Consumer Reports Says
Two Ford (F) hybrid models fall well short of the automaker's lofty fuel economy claims, Consumer Reports said, after putting the vehicles to the test. The magazine says that while Ford claims 47 miles per gallon in mixed driving for the 2013 models of the C-Max and the Fusion, its own results were short by 10 and 8 mpg respectively, or by about 20%.
