Darden Won't Shift To Part-Timers In Health Care Move
The parent of Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Longhorn Steakhouse chains said it won't change full-time workers to part-time status in 2014 in response to health care reforms known as ObamaCare. Darden Restaurants (DRI) in October said it was experimenting with limiting hours of some workers to avoid health care requirements that kick in that year under the Affordable Care Act.
