GE has announced nine new industrial service technologies and a joint venture with Accenture to help drive productivity innovation. The new “intelligent” services will expand GE’s industrial Internet technologies and deliver four categories of outcomes and benefits including optimized networks, plant and facilities, and assets. The services work across major industry sectors, including energy, oil and gas, healthcare, aviation, rail, and manufacturing.
Domtar has raised $150,000 for Classroom Central through the company’s second annual Vendor Partnership Meeting and Charity Golf Event. Classroom Central is a non-profit that provides students with school supplies through its Free Store for teachers. The organization is a resource for 200 high-poverty schools in six school districts in North and South Carolina.
CSC has been named as one of America’s “Top 100 Military Friendly Employers” by G.I. Jobs magazine for the fourth year in a row. The company has been actively hiring former military personnel for five years through its Military Recruitment Program, which provides transitional support to active and former military personnel. CSC currently employs 8,000 veterans.
