McAfee writes digital odyssey For the last few weeks the former antivirus entrepreneur, multimillionaire and well-known prankster has been on the run after Belize law enforcement named him a person of interest in connection with the death of a neighbor. He embodies much of what the American public loves in a protagonist: wealthy, good-looking, self-sufficient, bad boy - Richard Branson crossed with Dog the Bounty Hunter. [...] the plot has all the right elements: a shady government, murder, revenge, drugs, hearsay. Countless photos and updates on uprisings and atrocities during the Arab Spring came from dissidents with camera phones. In a second blog post on Tuesday, McAfee went so far as to reach out to the prime minister of Belize, Dean Barrow, offering a meeting to discuss "our mutual issues" - Belize's corruption - and educate the dignitary on the levels of graft within his government. Presumably Guerra would know more formal channels through which to request a meeting with a prime minister than a blog post.
