Sprint Not Expected To Bid For MetroPCS

Reuters reported that Sprint Nextel Corp. (NYSE: S) would probably not make a counteroffer to acquire MetroPCS Communications Inc. (NYSE: PCS). Shares of MetroPCS lost 81 cents to close at $9.96 while Sprint stock slipped 4 cents to close at $5.68.
