No major progress in cliff talks: Boehner

There has been ‘no substantive progress’ in talks between the Obama administration and House Republicans about the fiscal cliff over the past two weeks, House Speaker John Boehner said Thursday, in a comment that spooked nervous U.S. equity markets.
