Wheat Surges As USDA Warns On Winter Crop
Wheat rose for a sixth straight session Tuesday, heading for the longest rally in four months as record-low condition ratings underlined supply fears following a string of weather-affected harvests around the world. Benchmark hard red winter wheat futures rose the most, jumping more than 2%, with Kansas City Board of Trade HRW contract fetching its largest premium since Nov. 16 over the more widely traded Chicago Board of Trade wheat contract.
