North Texas Author Releases New Children’s Rhyming Alphabet Book
PR Log - Nov 26, 2012 - Children will enjoy reading and learning the alphabet with these whimsical illustrations and cunningly crafted rhymes as they journey through Alphabet Land with two dragonflies, Shanook and Kakela, to practice the letters of the alphabet.
“We’re going on a journey in Alphabet Land, and to have you join us would be grand! We’ll start with ‘A’ and end with ‘Z’, there’s a lot of fun things for us to see, like an airplane, a beaver and kangaroos, there is even someone with eight shoes!”
“My love for reading began when I was five years old and I had such a feeling of joy with picture books. Ever since then, books and art have been an important part of my life. So I have combined the love for both to create this fun children’s picture book. Each illustration is created on a computer software program using scanned construction paper to give it a unique textured look throughout each page and to give the children the experience of journeying through a magnificent territory that includes lands with trees, oceans, ponds, lakes, and mountains while discovering the alphabet with two friends, Shanook and Kakela.”
“A Journey Through Alphabet Land” is available at Amazon.com and other channels.
