C&J Energy Services, Inc. Announces Sale Of 3,296,549 Shares Of Common Stock By Stockholder

HOUSTON, Nov. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- C&J Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE: CJES) ("C&J") today announced that Energy Spectrum IV LP (the "Fund") has agreed to sell all 3,296,549 of its shares of common stock in an underwritten public offering as a part of the normal management of the Fund's investments following the completion of its investment period.   All net proceeds from the sale of the common stock will be received by the selling stockholder. C&J will not receive any of the proceeds.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is acting as the sole underwriter for the offering. Goldman, Sachs & Co. may offer the shares of common stock from time to time for sale in one or more transactions on the New York Stock Exchange, in the over-the-counter market, through negotiated transactions or otherwise at market prices prevailing at the time of sale, at prices related to prevailing market prices or at negotiated prices.

The offering will be made under an effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
