Intel CEO Otellini To Retire; Successor Search Begins
Intel (INTC) CEO Paul Otellini announced Monday that he plans to retire next May, triggering a search for a successor. Otellini, 62, has been Intel's chief executive since the second quarter of 2005. He is only the fifth CEO in the company's 45-year history. He's been with the company nearly 40 years. Intel said it will consider both internal and external candidates for the job.
