Twitter No Longer Deserves Support From The Developer Community

Tweetro is a popular Twitter client for Windows 8. Twitter will not allow it an exception to have more than 100,000 users, because Twitter may release a Windows 8 client in the future. Given that, why would any developer work on a client for Twitter?
