Cyberonics Profit Climbs; Medical Firm's Shares Jump
Shares of medical device maker Cyberonics (CYBX) rose nearly 10% on Friday after the company reported fiscal Q2 earnings, boosted by a one-time gain, ahead of forecasts. Cyberonics earned 44 cents a share, up 37% from the year-earlier period. Analysts had estimated a profit of 39 cents a share. With Friday's gain, shares in Cyberonics are up about 52% in 2012.
