JOHNSTOWN, PA., Nov. 16, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) announced today that it was one of eleven companies awarded a multiple award, multi-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), with a potential ceiling of $5.6 billion over a five-year period. Work will be performed worldwide to provide professional support services to the intelligence analysis mission, warfighters, defense planners, and defense and national security policymakers.
CTC's President & Chief Executive Officer, Edward J. Sheehan, Jr., stated, "CTC was awarded the original SIA contract in 2008 and executed a variety of task orders under it. Through the first SIA contract, we proved our ability, reliability, and determination to the DIA, and we are honored to continue to support them.
"As a nonprofit organization, CTC provides advantages to our clients that other organizations cannot offer. We make decisions based on what will get the best possible result for our clients, not on what will give us the best profit margin. We focus on the solutions and the services that our clients need.
"We were named one of the World's Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere Institute, one of only two defense contractors to be given that honor, for which over 5,000 companies were nominated."
