Chassis Plans to Support New NVIDIA Tesla K20 GPUs in its R5U-22A Rugged Rackmount 5U GPU Server for Industrial Markets

SAN DIEGO, CA (MMD Newswire) November 15, 2012 -- Chassis Plans, a provider of industrial computer systems and industrial LCD monitors for industrial applications, announces that it will offer the NVIDIA® Tesla® K20 GPU Accelerator in its R5U 22A product line. The NVIDIA® Tesla® K20 GPU Accelerator can also be integrated into Chassis Plans' 1U to 5U rugged rackmount computers when customization is requested.

With these new GPU cards, Chassis Plans' highly-customizable ruggedized 5U GPU Server can provide computing power that will increase your application performance by up to 10x. With the ability to accommodate up to four (4) of these new K20 GPU cards, the R5U-22A can fulfill demanding information super-computing processing needs within a ruggedized short form factor enclosure.

Designed to meet/exceed MIL-STD-810G, the R5U-22A ruggedized 5U GPU server will be an asset for onsite real-time analysis within data intensive applications relevant for oil exploration, such as seismic analysis and simulation. This industrial grade computer is able to withstand applications requiring an operational thermal range of 0°C to 50°C.

It has multiple expansion slots: (4x) PCIe(3.0)-X16 (double-width) slots, (2x) PCIe(3.0)-X8 slots, and (1x) PCIe(2.0)-X4 slot.
