The mobile site project was developed internally and incorporated the company’s proprietary customization technology. “We developed a fully integrated, responsive design website that will work on any form factor including mobile phones, tablets, as well as traditional desktop devices. From homepage to checkout, mobile shoppers will have full access to all stores, products, designs, and customization features that they would experience on a desktop computer,” said Ivan Chachkov, CTO of Sportswear Inc.
In addition to the mobile ecommerce site, the company recently launched new mobile-friendly marketing emails, enabling customers to easily open and click through promotional emails from their mobile device. The combination of the new mobile email template and the new mobile site enables online shoppers to access promotional email on their phone, click through directly to their favorite school or college team store, pick a product, customize it with designs and activities targeted to their preferences, and to checkout in a seamless, cohesive experience.
