Heritage Museum of Orange County Holds Traditional Victorian-Style Tea Party Dec. 2
SANTA ANA, Calif. (MMD Newswire) November 15, 2012 -- The Heritage Museum of Orange County, where visitors can take a virtual trip back to a simpler, more graceful time in Southern California, is getting into the Holiday spirit the old-fashioned way with a classic Victorian Tea Party on Sunday, Dec. 2 starting at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Hosted by Orange County's Victorian Tea Society, guests to the annual "Holly Berry Tea" will be greeted by the group's volunteers dressed in the formal attire of the gentile era, and will be treated to a variety of the finest teas, sweet and savory dishes and scones while seated in the fully decorated Kellogg House, one of the county's most visited historical landmarks.
This year, the traditionally sold out event also will feature an opportunity for a lucky winner to go home with a handmade quilt. Tickets are $10 each or $25 for three. In addition, VIPs will be provided special seating in the Kellogg House formal dining room where they will be served champagne by a dedicated serving staff and receive a special gift, according to Candace Chromy, executive director of the museum.
Tickets can be ordered online at www.brownpapertickets.com or by calling (714) 540-0404 during business hours. Proceeds from the event and corporate or individual sponsorship fees benefit the museum's children educational field trip program.
