2012 CSR Report Highlights
Governance and Ethics
John Chambers, Chief Executive Officer, Cisco
"Cisco's true value is not in what we make, but in what we make possible. Our business innovation underpins our CSR performance and as innovation occurs, we are helping break down the barriers that stifle economic growth and stall environmental sustainability. Education and the Internet are two great equalizers and through the use of technology -- as well as in collaboration with our employees, partners and governments -- we are transforming lives."
Tae Yoo, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Cisco
"The technology, partnerships, and expertise that Cisco uses to help its customers also play a critical role in multiplying positive impacts for society and the environment. Through our human and technology networks, Cisco has had the ability to address pressing global issues in CSR such as access to health care, improving underperforming education systems, and increasing greenhouse gas emissions."
