Stocks Deliver Weak Finish; Market Still Seeks Bottom
Stocks closed poorly Tuesday, ending in the red and near their session lows. The Nasdaq lost 0.7%, while the S&P 500 and NYSE composite both shed 0.4%. Volume increased from Monday, when the Veterans Day holiday slowed trading. Each index touched a fresh low for the current correction, in a sign that the market has yet to stabilize or establish a bottom.
