Christopher Baker Joins Wick Phillips Team
PR Log - Nov 13, 2012 - Wick Phillips, a full-service business law firm with offices in Dallas, Fort Worth and Austin, Texas, announces the addition of Christopher Baker as an associate in its Dallas location.  Baker will work with public and private clients on corporate and finance matters including SEC disclosures, corporate governance, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions and bank financing.

“The goals of our corporate and finance team are to provide clients with efficient and effective advice to help clients achieve their business goals,” said Bryan Wick, partner of Wick Phillips. “Chris’s background in a variety of industries makes him an invaluable asset to this team, and will in turn allow us to broaden our corporate and finance offering to clients.”

Prior to entering law school, Baker enjoyed a career in construction sales and logistics. As a result of his business experience, he has broadened his expertise within a number of industries, including electrical utilities, telecommunications, road and highway construction, heavy equipment, manufacturing, trucking and railroads.

While in law school, he focused his studies on corporate affairs and the development and financing of energy and technology related projects. He also participated in an Innovation Advancement Clinic, where he provided legal and business consulting services to emerging companies.

Baker earned his B.S. in business management and his J.D. magna cum laude from Arizona State University. Baker is licensed to practice in Texas.
