The market has been choppy on very light volume that’s most likely due to the bond markets being closed. I still think that that action last week rewarded the shorts but by week’s end the momentum that they enjoyed has subsided. This potentially means that we could see some short traders start to cover, giving the upside some catalyst if there is pressure to cover. Gold on the other hand has been on a tear to the upside, but currently it is at resistance.
