3000 Jobs Axed at Troubled Vestas

GALWAY, IRELAND--November 12, 2012 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Shrinking orders for wind turbines has been blamed for troubled wind energy company, Vestas Wind Systems (OTC:VWDRY) (Randers, Denmark), confirming plans for another 3,000 job cuts. The company claimed that its goal to shrink its workforce to 19,000 by the end of the year or early 2013 has been revised and that another 1,000 jobs will have to go.
