African King visits Cornerstone Development International
PR Log - Nov 09, 2012 - IRVINE, CA - On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, Irvine, California based corporation Cornerstone Development International (CDI) will be hosting a visit from King Iguru of the Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom.
The palace of the ancient Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom is in Hoima, Uganda, the seat of His Majesty, The Omukama (King) Rukirabasaija Agutamba Solomon Gafabusa Iguru I. His visit coincides with the 50 year, Jubilee anniversary of Uganda’s independence from colonial rule. The Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom is a patriarchal society with a rich history of 49 kings which has been traced back to the 14th century. During the making of the African Queen, filmed near the headwaters of the Nile, the 1951 award winning actor Humphrey Bogart and co-star Katherine Hepburn stayed in the Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom.
King Iguru is strongly dedicated to his citizens and continually seeks ways of improving the quality of life through industry, commerce and tourism suitable to his kingdom’s territory. He will be touring Southern California to learn about California’s rich and diverse economic history and for inspiration of appropriate and new avenues of commerce. In addition, he will observe agriculture, petroleum exploration and production, construction, mining, manufacturing of concrete and cement, and examine present day health care, tourism and entertainment service sectors.
A successful general contractor for the past 25 years, CDI President Paul Falco is meeting with King Iguru to exhibit the plans for nearly 10,000 low-cost housing units the company is scheduled to build outside of Quito, Ecuador in partnership with the government of Ecuador, its Central Bank and its retirement/social security bank, Biess Banco.
