Nevada gaming officials said Las Vegas and outlying areas posted a 3.7% hike in gambling revenue in September, vs. last year, to $760.6 million. The upbeat report followed a similar one earlier this month from Chinese gambling hotspot Macau, which reported that October gambling revenue climbed 3.2% to $3.5 billion, a 2012 monthly high. If renewed vigor in Las Vegas and Macau gambling continues, casinos could get a boost going into 2013. But on
