BIA Announces CEDS Certification of Its Professional Services Management Team
PR Log - Nov 08, 2012 - Miami - Business Intelligence Associates, Inc. (BIA), a full solutions service provider and creator of TotalDiscovery.com, an on-demand ESI collection and Early Case Assessment platform, announced Thursday that "every member of the company's professional services management team has passed the rigorous ACEDS exam and has been credentialed as a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS).”
BIA also said that it will certify its sales professionals “so that the entire project lifecycle is managed by staff members who have proven knowledge in multiple facets of e-discovery."
BIA now requires CEDS certification for all its Project Managers, Advisors and Professional Services Managers, and will offer the CEDS credential to other members of its professional services team.
"BIA understands the importance of an independent, vendor neutral organization such as ACEDS,” Feinberg said. “The company also believes that, in addition to being a large factor of competitive differentiation, a growing number of law firms and corporations will choose to work with certified professionals who have earned the important CEDS credential."
"In today's increasingly competitive market of e-discovery vendors, it's not enough to solely compete on price or support," he continued. "Today we are raising the bar and can assure any client that the professionals working on their project have passed an arduous exam demonstrating core knowledge in e-discovery and have been designated by ACEDS as a Certified e-Discovery Specialist. As such, our team works with a keen eye and can deliver a higher level of service than can be found with many of our competitors."
The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) awards the CEDS credential to qualified candidates who pass a rigorous, proctored exam offered at more than 600 secure testing centers worldwide.
Robert Hilson, Editorial Director of ACEDS, said, “We’re very proud that BIA, a highly respected e-discovery solutions provider, has taken this important step to assure the core competence of its Professional Services Management Team and provide its clients with evidence of its commitment to controlling risk and cost.”
BIA is a sponsor at the upcoming ACEDS Annual Conference from February 28 through March 2, 2013, in Hollywood, FL, and is a Charter Affiliate Member of ACEDS.
