Tulix Systems Announces Major Expansion of its SatLIVE(TM) Product Line
Atlanta, GA (MMD Newswire) November 6, 2012 -- Tulix Systems, Inc. EVP, Dr. Nino Doijashvili today announced a major expansion of the company's satellite content capture, encoding and delivery product SatLIVE™ with the addition of new satellite receiving dish farm at its European headquarters in Tbilisi, Georgia. "From our corporate headquarters, we are currently working with channels on Galaxy 19 and SES-1 in the United States. Being base in Atlanta, we are perfectly positioned, geographically, for exceptional content delivery in North America. But, we have always had our eyes on the international market. "With the addition of a new client (details to be announced later), it was a natural business decision to extend our reach to channels on other satellites through SatLIVE™" she explained.

SatLIVE™ is the revolutionary new technology that allows Tulix to receive client's linear mpeg2 or mpeg 4 video signals in, transcoded them on the fly and then deliver it to a Satellite Teleport for transmission." Nino stated, "This is a feature that our clients have been very excited about. SatLIVE™ delivers high performance and value because of the quality of the Tulix network. It can also deliver significant savings over the current methods" she explained.

Tulix Systems has initially added satellite equipment to capture transmissions on EUTELSAT 9A. That particular satellite covers Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Nino elaborated, "There are over 430 TV channels and close to 200 radio stations already on EUTELSAT 9A. EUTELSAT 28A, EUTELSAT Hot Bird 13A and EUTELSAT 7A are already in cue for deployment, as well. Add our Optimized Content Delivery Network services to the picture and Tulix Systems is a total streaming solutions and CDN provider for the world's broadcasters" she concluded.
