The major indexes rose in erratic trading early Tuesday as voters packed into polling places across the nation. The Dow climbed 0.6%. The S&P added 0.4% and the Nasdaq inched up 0.1%. Volume was mixed, 17% higher on the Nasdaq and down 13% on the NYSE compared with the same time Monday. Express Scripts (ESRX) and Fossil (FOSL) weighed on both the Nasdaq 100 and the S&P 500, down 15% and 12%, respectively. Novo Nordisk (NVO) dropped 6% out of the
